Philanthropists Jillian Manus and Alan Salzman host the fifth annual Valentine’s Day Ball at their Atherton residence on Saturday February, 6th. The Valentine’s Day Ball, a glamorous black tie cocktail reception and dancing gala, benefits the Stanford Cancer Center. Event producer and designer, Robert Fountain once again partners with Manus and Salzman in the creation of the evening’s theme, “The Game of Love.” Since inception, the Valentine’s Day Ball has generated over a million dollars for the Stanford Cancer Center.
100% of the evening’s proceeds, including the ticket price and donations, directly benefit the Stanford Cancer Center. True to “The Game of Love” theme, each room in the house will depict a humorous and nostalgic take on beloved childhood games such as Monopoly, Clue, Life, Scrabble, Checkers – just to name a few. All décor, food, beverages, and entertainment will intertwine with the “fun and games” theme as well. Exquisite hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert will be provided by Paula Le Duc Catering. Blue Angel Vodka, Mumm Vineyards and Cliff Lede Vineyards are event and spirits sponsors.
