SEE EVENT DETAILS
at McLaren Hall (see times)
The University of San Francisco (USF) will host a public lecture “Rethinking the Ecumenical and Interfaith Path: Should We Accentuate What Unites or What Distinguishes?”, presented by Dr. William R. Burrows, theology professor at New York Theological Seminary. This lecture is part of the 34th Paul Wattson Christian Unity Lecture, an annual event put on by the Franciscan friars aimed at sharing current topics of interest for the interfaith community. Dr. Burrow uses insight gained from ecumenical and interfaith conversations to explore the idea that we should cherish and affirm religious differences in the search for deeper and more honest relations pertaining to conflicting religious beliefs.
