At Sweet Taste of Success, Upwardly Global will celebrate the cultural richness of our Bay Area immigrant and refugee job seekers with a night of exquisite bites from talented chefs, delicious drinks, and live music. At Upwardly Global, we work with immigrants, refugees, and asylees who have a college education and work experience from their home countries, but are unable to find professional jobs. We provide training and one-on-one coaching to immigrant doctors, engineers, teachers, scientists, and business people from more than 100 countries to help them navigate the U.S. job search and re-enter their careers.
On Wednesday, October 18th at the Green Room in San Francisco you will be able to support our work by joining us for this cultural and culinary event. At the event, you will hear from guest speakers, including our alumni, enjoy a diverse selection of tasty treats from notable area chefs, and play to win auction prizes.
