Upgrade your dating chops so you can rock your next date!Have you ever gone on a date where you *suspect* that the other person is cool, but can’t seem to find your way to an interesting conversation with them?The person seems cute online, but then when you meet up it’s all small talk, generic questions, awkward laughter, and silences?And you walk away wondering …. “Was there something I could have done differently?”The answer is Yes. Yes, there is something you can do.We’re here to show you exactly what that is at Upgrade Your Date.Upgrade Your Date is SF’s hot new relating workshop for young professionals who want to take their dates from feeling like boring job interviews to instead feel like magical synchronous encounters with a long lost soulmate/playmate.The focus will be on building the skills required to Rock Your Next Date. How? Experientially! We’ll take you on a journey through practicing 'mini-date' activities with other attendees, including:- Vulnerability Games: Express more of yourself & connect faster- The “G rated” pleasure-touching exercise that sets you up for physical connection- The A,B,C’s of Boundaries- Cuddle Corner (don't be scared!!) :)Unlike Speed Dating, there will be no pressure to actually lock down a date at this event. We are just showing up to practice and hone our skills, like a yoga or martial arts class. #DatingDojo ;)But hey, if you happen to meet someone cool at our event, we won’t stop you from hanging out with them again :)Most of the games we'll play at this event are inspired by the Somatica Method, so if you have been curious about Somatica, come check this out, whether you're actively dating right now or not! You may be dating later :)********************WHO IS THIS FOR?********************This event is for anyone who goes on dates, or might someday go on dates, and wants them to be more fun.You can come by yourself, or bring a friend or someone you are dating.
We especially hope to reach techies and other young professionals who spend too much time working and want to have more fun. Our event will also appeal to those who practice yoga, meditation, mindfulness, circling, authentic relating, tantra, or have been curious about things like a cuddle party but are not quite ready for that yet. (this is not a cuddle party).
