Why a Silent Auction Masquerade? Our first fundraising event is a silent auction masquerade called Unmask the Night, representing that we all wear masks every day. Through educational opportunities we can create awareness so that we might be able to take off our masks and live authentically. We’re promoting this night as a fun, weeknight wellness event that encourages holistic wellness from a bio-psycho-social perspective.

The Event: For guests who purchase tickets online, we are offering a wellness welcome bag that will include various stress-reduction items. The event will also feature the silent auction and other fun activities. Tickets sold at the door are $35 until sold out and do not guarantee a bag. Drinks & food sold separately.

TogetherWell Background and History: TogetherWell was created to address the growing need for community services. With the high rates of suicide, opioid-related deaths, trauma impact from the current immigration policy, and other stressors and epidemics facing our country, so many people could benefit from more accessible mental health information and resources.

While there are already many excellent individual organizations that provide services, there’s currently not one hub that allows interested communities to access all of these resources and graduate-level experts in a central location. Avoiding the stigma of therapy, our workshops provide windows of opportunity for anyone who holds negative attitudes regarding seeking help to improve mental health.

TogetherWell provides mental health workshops in order to:
*Present educational opportunities to the community at free to no cost
*Share resources and expertise
*Decrease the stigma associated with mental health
*Provide a forum for community members to connect with one another
*Offer professional development and mentoring opportunities to young professionals in the field for future generations.

Objectives of Fundraiser: We are hosting our first fundraiser so that we can reach more people nationwide. Funds will allow us to enhance the functionality of our website, creating a more intuitive, user-friendly experience for the populations we serve, and to connect with communities across the country. This support will also enable us to develop resources, tools, and new technology and marketing campaigns that target rural communities where access to mental health education and resources is limited.
