Visit the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum for the central coast's premier family-oriented educational event celebrating one of nature's vibrant aerial acrobats, the Hummingbird. During the event, nature lovers of all ages will experience and learn about these amazing birds and the particular flowers at the Arboretum that host and support them. Visitors will have opportunities to see and hear hummingbirds.
Activities Include:
Children's art projects, bird walks, and face painting
Talks on Hummingbird Natural History, and Gardening to Attract Hummingbirds
Hummingbird Photography Workshop
Guided tours of the gardens and their bird life
Spanish tours offered both days at 2 and 3 PM
