Join the all-new team race experience from On!
The Tug-O-Run is a 5K clash involving two teams racing around the same course in opposite directions. Sprint, jog, walk, or crawl at your own pace, but you’ll need to finish as one because every stride of every runner will pull a team to victory. The team with the fastest average overall time will be crowned Tug–O–Run champion.

SCHEDULE Thursday, August 15th, 2019
6:00 - 7:00 pm: Check-in and Registration: Get your Race Bib and your pair of On shoes to try
7:15 pm: Race time! (Team Red VS Team Blue)
8:00 - 9:30 pm: Awards and honoring the winning team. After-party to follow with food, drinks, music and friends
DISTANCE: 5K at Park Chalet's South Lawn running trails.
FORMAT: Two teams (Red VS Blue) race around the same course in opposite directions.
HOW TO WIN: The team with the fastest average overall time will be crowned Tug–O–Run San Francisco champions.
EXPERIENCE: Food, drinks and music post race with an awards ceremony to announce winners.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How many people are on each team? There are two teams. Teams will be split evenly and randomly as you register.
2. Do I need to bring someone to run with? No, we will randomly place people on one of the two teams. INDIVIDUALS ARE WELCOME!
3. Can I request to run on the same team with a specific person? People will be placed on teams randomly. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate specific team requests.
5. Is there a deadline to register? Yes, the deadline to register is August 14th, 2019 at 5:00 PM PST (Subject to change).
COSTS This event is complimentary. It includes a pair of On shoes to try for the race, drinks and snacks during the after-party
