Now in its 4th year, the 2017 edition presents 40 comedians from diverse backgrounds - India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Iran, Fiji; Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jewish, Agnostic, Atheist; Male, Female, Straight, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual. The comedians bring to stage their unapologetic and unabashed experiences, observations and opinions.

MEET THE COMEDIANS

Abhay Nadkarni

Abhay moved from South-India to South Central Los Angeles for grad school. "But Why?" would be an obvious reaction. Maybe he had a death wish or maybe he wanted to see if Training Day was legit or maybe USC was the only school willing to give him an education. Dodging bullets en-route to grad school armed him with plenty of stories and stand up was his only catharsis for combating culture shock. His act is an eclectic mix of his experience as an immigrant in the US.

In Chicago, Singh co-produces SolidHilarity, a comedy show that raises money for activists and labor unions, is a producer for Woke-Up Stand-Up, and is a contributing writer for the progressibe talk show Good Evening with Pat Whalen.
