The Laurel District Association is organizing a district-wide celebration for all ages in conjunction with Halloween! We are planning the following activities:
ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP (BY TIME):
Silent Disco Yoga, 11am - 12pm at Communite Table (4171 MacArthur Blvd.) led by Left Coast Power Yoga
Special Halloween performance by the Pacific Boychoir, 2pm - 4pm, at Communite Table (4171 MacArthur Blvd.)
The Marchmen, 3pm - 6pm, performing Halloween classics cover songs, at Degrees Plato Tap Room, Bottle Shop, Restaurant (4251 MacArthur Blvd.)
Ghost Town Brewery (3506 MacArthur Blvd.) live music (times TBD)
House Band, 6pm - 9pm at Lounge 3411 (3411 MacArthur Blvd.)
Karaoke, 9pm - 2am at Lounge 3411 (3411 MacArthur Blvd.)
SALES & ACTIVITIES:
Trick-or-Treating (11am - 4pm): Laurel merchants are supplying candy baskets, candy, and tote bags for kiddos on Saturday, October 30. You can get a basket then trick-or-treat door to door. Look for our signs to know which merchants are participating.
Costume Contest: Locate the Halloween-themed "photo booth" inside or outside a Laurel business where kids/adults can take their photo. E-mail the photo to the [email protected] to enter the contest for a $50 gift certificate to Kelly's Corner children's boutique store.
Bag-making crafts at the Communite Table parking lot.
Activities are happening all along MacArthur Boulevard between 35th Avenue and High Street. "Love The Laurel Neighborhood Days" spotlights the business district through a series of public events hosted by boutique shops, restaurants, galleries, and service providers. Visitors can enjoy free live music outdoors, pop up vendors and sales, seasonal menus and cocktails, workshops and activities. Each event in the once-monthly series introduces new themed activities to celebrate the fall and winter season.
