The Tree of Life image is found in every culture and religion. This metaphor of flourishing connects us and builds empathy. We will make leaves for a Tree of Life Quilt for SCRAP. The leaves are simple shapes cut from pieces of fabric. Participants will stitch or use permanent markers to write hope/dream/wish/prayer for our community or world. Participants will also explore several methods for beginning a personal Tree of Life banner or quilt with a theme or their choice. No sewing experience required.
