Here's more about the authors:
CATHY FIORELLO was born in Brooklyn, NY, is a graduate of Hunter College in Manhattan, and continued her studies at Cornell and New York Universities. She went on to a career in publishing and developed a passion for Paris along the way. She has been published in Scholastic and Parents' magazines and the New York Times. In retirement, she relocated to San Francisco where she jump-started her writing life. She is a contributor to Vistas & Byways, the SFSU Literary Review. Her first book, AL CAPONE HAD A LOVELY MOTHER, is a memoir told in 3 cities: New York, Paris, and San Francisco. In her current book, STANDING AT THE EDGE OF THE POOL: Life, Love, Loss and Never Learning to Swim, she uses her fear of taking the plunge as an allegory for how she's gone on to meet life's challenges.

VIVIEN ZIELIN was born in England and is a graduate of the University of Sussex. She has taught history in London, worked for an interior design company in Jerusalem, and was the owner of a store in Carnaby Street specializing in fine English-made giftware, dinnerware, and quirky teapots. She has traveled the world encountering en route crocodiles, moonshine, prime ministers, and drug smuggling. She was in Israel during The Six-Day War, has pony trekked in the foothills of the Himalayas, and had an encounter with the KGB in Russia. In 2003 she took a Torah home to Belarus. She moved to California in 2005 and became a citizen in 2012. EYEBALLING BIG CROC: CHASING DREAMS AROUND THE WORLD is her first book - a memoir seen through the prism of world travel - and was published in 2018.
