You are invited to join San Francisco Travel in our Tourism Gives Back volunteer event on Friday, May 10th!
We will be partnering with the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department on a beautification project at Alamo Square Park. The Park is popular among visitors for viewing and photographing the popular Painted Ladies and San Francisco Travel hopes to help enhance this park for all.
We will meet at Hayes and Steiner Streets at 9am. The volunteer event will conclude at 12pm.
Volunteer Guidelines
Wear old clothes—inevitably volunteers will be getting dirty
Wear layers of clothes—long pants and long-sleeved shirt
Wear sturdy closed-toed shoes with good tread
Bring rain-gear and/or sun block and sun hat
Bring water or additional snacks for special dietary needs
Bring work gloves if available—otherwise we will supply
Projects take place rain or shine—barring high winds or dangerous weather conditions.
All tools will be provided and additional volunteer information will be shared closer to the event.
