Emmy and Golden Globe nominated television star of such favorites as Taxi and Who's the Boss? Tony Danza makes his Feinstein's at the Nikko debut with "Standards & Stories" following a successful run at New York's famed Cafe Carlyle in June. Stephen Holden of the New York Times called Tony "that talented eternally boyish guy from the neighborhood with the ingenious grin..." and said the entertainer's song choices for the show are "astute."
Danza just finished starring as high roller, Tommy Korman in the acclaimed Jason Robert Brown Broadway musical Honeymoon in Vegas and includes numbers from the show in his cabaret act which, according to Holden, "brought down the house."
Danza was also seen on Broadway in the 1999 revival of Eugene O'Neil's The Iceman Cometh and portayed "Max Bialystock" in The Producers in 2006-2007 before reprising the role in the Las Vegas production in 2007-2008.
In 2009-2010, Danza filmed his experiences teaching a 10th Grade English Class at Northeast High School in Philadelphia for his A&E reality show Teach:Tony Danza and released a book about the experience entitled I'd Like to Apologize to Every Teacher I Ever Had: My Year as a Rookie Teacher at Northeast High. He also co-authored a cookbook with his son Marc called Don't fill up on the Antipasto and hosted his own daytime television talk show..
