Nisha Pahuja is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker based in Toronto. Her latest film, To Kill a Tiger, had its world premiere at TIFF where it won the Amplify Voices Award for Best Canadian Feature Film. The film grew out of a long career of addressing various human rights issues, notably violence against women in India.

Since its world premiere, The New York Times named To Kill a Tiger one of "the most anticipated movies of Fall 2023". This powerful film has already received 21 prestigious awards and has been featured at 31 festivals worldwide. With celebrity Executive Producers Dev Patel, Mindy Kaling, and Rupi Kaur on board, "To Kill A Tiger" is not just a film; it's a movement for change.
