TIA's Smart Communities and Transportation Workshop

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Nest Labs Miranda (see times)
Oct 4-5, 9am to 6pm

Smart communities continue to expand the numbers and types of IoT applications they use for operations and local community services. Smart metering, parking, public transportation, and street light applications are being enabled by current broadband networks and future 5G technologies that spur innovation and investment in the smart community ecosystem.

At the same time, major auto manufacturers and other transportation technology companies are developing intelligent transportation solutions and redefining themselves as integral to next generation mobility of people and things. These companies are beginning to offer services that reach beyond the car to connect and interact with the community, main street, and home.

Smart communities, along with intelligent transportation, require connectivity networks that deliver comprehensive, ubiquitous, broadband and low-band capacity that enable a growing variety of IoT applications.

Join city officials, automotive thought leaders, network infrastructure companies and IoT application developers for informative and engaging discussions on connected community development.
