THREE SHORT PLAYS
Tuesday, June 11, from 5 to 6pm

"Einstein Meets God" by Ollie Mae Trost Welch takes place in heaven. "The 200th Day" by David Hirzel honors those who died in Leningrad in the winter of 1941-42, and during the two-and-one-half-year siege. "In Are You Talking to Me?" by Teresa LeYung-Ryan, a woman is driven out of her home by insensitive neighbors and moves in with a stranger and two cats. Author interviews by Darlene Frank after the plays.

David Hirzel has written two books on Antarctic explorer Tom Crean, and the poetry chapbook "Sea Sonnets". His Terra Nova Press is about to publish Patrick Cahill’s firsthand account of Arctic exploration. Hirzel writes from Sky Ranch overlooking the sea in Pacifica, and designs green houses for a sustainable future.

Coach Teresa LeYung-Ryan is the author of "Build Your Writer’s Platform & Fanbase in 22 Days: Attract Agents, Editors, Publishers, Readers, and Media Attention NOW" (workbook), "Love Made of Heart" (mother-daughter novel), "Answer Me Now" (award-winning play), and speeches to end violence against women and children. http://writingcoachTeresa.com for more resources.

Ollie Mae Trost Welch is writing a series of one-act plays. Her play Shaw took six awards at the 2012 Fringe of Marin Fall Festival. Welch has a degree in Creative Writing and English Literature from San Francisco State University and has studied drama at the College of Marin.
