Third Annual Burger & Brew Fest

Celebrating the craft brew movement in Northern California, the Third Annual Fremont Burger & Brew Fest returns to Downtown Fremont on Saturday, May 27 from 11:00am to 6:00pm to offer up a day that is sure to delight beer connoisseurs, foodies and music lovers alike. Featuring a mouth-watering selection of gourmet burgers and craft beers from Bay Area breweries, restaurants and food trucks, the day-long celebration will also include live music, local business booths and arts and craft vendors. Two exciting new additions to this year’s festival are The Burger Throwdown - a cooking competition that pits local celebrity teams against each other to create the most mouthwatering burger and the People's Choice Best Brew Award- awarded by festivalgoers to their favorite beer at the festival. The Burger and Brew Fest will take place on Liberty Street between Capitol & Walnut.

The Gourmet Marketplace will offer delectable snacks and treats, while the Business Marketplace will have local business booths offering special deals and giveaways. Street vendors will offer face painting, henna, and more.

Attendance is free and open to the public. Tasting Packages and Extras can be purchased in advance online at Burgerandbrewfest.com. Prices range from the $35 Craft Tasters Club Package, which includes a 4-oz. branded glass and eight pour tickets to the $60 BFF Drinking Buddy Package for two 4-oz. branded tasting glasses and fourteen pour tickets.

Bay Area breweries that will be pouring at the 2017 Burger & Brew Fest include, 21st Amendment Brewery, Alameda Island Brewing Company, Ale Industries, Altamont Beer Works, Buffalo Bill’s Brewery, Calicraft Brewing, Drakes Brewing, Eight Bridges Brewing, Faction Brewing, JP Das Brew, Marin Brewing, Moylan’s Brewing, Oakland United Beerworks, Shadow Puppet Brewing, and Working Man Brewing.

Participating food trucks include 3 Geeks - Cheesestakes and Po Boys, Big City Country Boy - American Classics with Southern Flair, Capelo’s Barbecue - Authentic Southern BBQ, Chick-N-Chill - Crispy Chicken, Koja Kitchen - Korean-Japanese Fiusion, Mario’s French Dips - Roast Beef Sandwiches, Opie’s GSB - Gourmet Stacked Burgers, Paddy Wagon Sliders -Gourmet Sliders and Tots, Rice Rockit - Asian Fusion Cuisine, Rita’s of Hayward – Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, S&K Wings – Chicken Wings, Smoke’s Poutinerie - Authentic Quebec Poutine , Tacos de los Altos - Authentic Mexican Cuisine, and more.

The live music line-up will be on the main stage at Capitol Avenue and Paseo Padre and has just been announced.
