Artist Bio:

Serge Gay Jr. was born in 1984 Port-au Price, Haiti. Serge the second, named after his father Serge and his mother Lorette Gay, third son of three boys. In 1988 Serge moved to Queens, New York from Haiti, but soon after the family moved to Miami, Florida in 1989, where Serge would spend the rest of his childhood. Serge's artistic abilities mostly came from his farther; a ceramist and his farther was also a ceramist as well before he died. The artist talent passed on from generation to generation. Serge Jr. first felt that being an artist was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life at the age of ten, he felt he had a special talent deep inside of him. Serge picked to go to "New World school of the Arts," one of the top art high school in America. This school open new door for Serge and open his eyes and mind to new ideals to express him self though his culture. After exploring his New World within these four great years for his career it was time for him to make his third choice, to continue to follow his dreams as artist. After applying to the best and top art colleges in America, one stood out from the rest. "College for Creative Studies," in Detroit, Michigan, was the school he felt would help him further his art career. Serge Gay Jr. graduated in Illustration, off May 2006 at the College for Creative Studies and now is a working fine artist, Illustrator, and Graphic designer in San Francisco.
