Tue Jul 3 - Mon Jul 9
Soundwave at Nightlife

Fourth of July falls on a Wednesday, but that's hardly slowing the numerous events planned for the holiday throughout the Bay Area, including the annual 4th of July at Pier 39 Bash and El Rio's Big Time Freedom Festival with Religious Girls. The party starts early with old-school hip hop tonight at Cream of Beat, featuring Fat Lip of The Pharcyde and SF's own RBL Posse. Sander Van Doorn is back behind the decks at Ruby Skye and Grupo Fantasma brings Latin flavor to Great American Music Hall. Fillmore Jazz Festival swings back into the Fillmore District and Justin Martin celebrates "Ghettos and Gardens" with a three-hour set.
