Some of San Francisco's most notable arts tastemakers convene this week for the Modern Ball fundraiser, followed by the Post-Modern Ball, a fundraiser for SFMOMA headlined by Chromeo and several other local DJs. On the street scene, Red Bull Ride + Style features fixed-gear cyclists competing with obstacles designed and decorated by local artists and Killing My Lobster Chops Down the Family Tree debuts its latest stage show of comedic vignettes for the domestically disturbed. The sailing season officially begins with an Opening Day on the Bay Celebration and the New Living Expo examines the connection between mind, body and spirit. Real Estate start the week with mellow indie tunes and local favorite The Fresh & Only's headline Brick & Mortar Music Hall.
