Not many people think of the Tendernob as a destination place but it actually has tons of watering holes for locals to escape the tourism and have a good stiff drink.
We'll gather at SWIG and checkout some local secrets as we make our way to Polk st where we'll end the night dancing. The total walk is a little over a mile.
We will be venturing near the Tenderlion so please stick close to the group. We've never had any issues when we're in our group moving from bar to bar.
Keep in mind we don't grab a drink @ every location and how long we stay ranges from a quick walk-through to drinks and dinner depending on the bar's capacity and comfort.
Dress Code: Feel free to dress casually. We shouldn't be visiting any venues with a dress code but a number of the venues will probably have a cover at the end of the evening. Dress comfortable and don't forget to dress warm as it'll be cold!
Parking: There are a few parking garages scattered around downtown and usually some street parking. Given the location though I highly recommend public transit or at least having nothing visible in your car. Please respect the signs and use ParkMe.com (http://www.parkme.com/) if you want to find more parking options.
See you there,
Arthur G. Bahr
