For five nights only, characters from the hit show 'The Speakeasy' will reunite inside The Palace Theater for some mischief- and merry-making. Fictional club owners Sal and Eloise have turned their little gin joint into a haunted house party for the ages. From seances and tarot card readings, magic acts and parlor games, tap-dancing skeletons and vaudeville performances, audiences can expect to celebrate the season in grand Jazz Age fashion.
There are two arrival times: Premium ticket-holders are invited to arrive at 8:30 p.m. to witness a thirty-minute playlet of ghost stories featuring several Speakeasy regulars. The Theater then opens at 9 p.m. for general admission.
Patrons are encouraged to don their best 1920s costumes, and each night two well-dressed individuals will win a prize. In keeping with its entry policy for The Speakeasy, The Palace Theater will also remain a cellphone-free space. Guests will be asked to seal their phones and other digital devices in pouches, which they keep on their person, for the duration of the show. A Halloween-themed photo booth will be on site to preserve memories.
$90 on up.
