The Sound Healing Symphony at Grace Cathedral— Gratitude

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Grateful for our last 'Sound Healing Symphony' of the year!
1400 of us are going to gather on this moonlit night— to resonate with harmony, tranquility and well being.
This journey brings you to your most profound meditative state, and brings us all closer together as a community.

With Guy Douglas {conductor, lead gong + bowls}, Sarah Glass {vocals + harp} and Alisa Healy {harp}, Lydia Hwang {monochord}, Vladimir Cardema{didgeridoo & Native American Flute}, Loriel Starr {gong}, Marco Ferrero, Celine Rezvani and Xenia Giolli {gong}, Simona Marie Asinovski {crystal singing bowls} and Dan Neville {vibraphone}

Sound Meditation (often known as ‘sound healing’) is the practice of listening to soothing sounds to reach profound states of clarity and relaxation. It opens up deep meditative states that are usually unreachable without considerable effort.
During the event, participants lie down and are bathed head to toe in sound— it's a very hypnotic, ethereal experience.
You will come away with a clear mind, and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of sound. We strongly recommend this event for people who have trouble meditating, or feel like they just "can't get there." Give this a try :).
Sound Meditation Presents promotes the ancient healing practice of sound work as a way to affect physical health and conscious awareness.

Please arrive early. Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to please arrive early. Doors are closed at 8pm.
If you are laying down, we recommend bringing:- a yoga mat- (optional) a pillow - (optional) a blanket or two.
Bring water as that's always a good idea.

(this event is not religious & has no religious affiliation)
This event is not suitable for children, nor for pets. If you require the assistance of a service animal, please contact us as early as possible.
