The Skating Club of San Francisco's Annual Gala - A Celebration of Bay Area Champions

The 2018 Gala hosted by The Skating Club of San Francisco (SCSF) is a celebration of Bay Area champions.  We are honoring the 30th year of Brian Boitano’s Olympic Gold Medal, and he will be the guest of honor.  We also are honoring the 20th anniversary of Brian’s Youth Skate Foundation and the 20th anniversary of the Yerba Buena Ice Skating & Bowling Center and its partnership with the SCSF.  Charlie Tickner, World and Olympic medlaist will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.
It’s been a tremendous year for Bay Area skating as we celebrate our first Olympian from the SCSF, Vincent Zhou, who is the 2018 US Bronze medalist and who competes in Pyeongchang, South Korea.  Vincent will headline the show with all of the Team USA members and national medalists and competitiors from the SCSF.  Look for performances from Dinh Tran, Sarah Feng and her partner TJ Neiman, and Kate Wang.  There also will be a special guest performance by the 2018 US Junior Champion Alysa Liu. Our SCSF award-winning teams, Theater on Ice and the Tremors will be there to show their new programs.
Most of all we will be celebrating the joy of skating from the beginner, recreational and accomplished, from the toddler to the adult.  Come join the fun!
