WHAT: The Shops at Tanforan invite the community to help celebrate National Police Week with a special event at the center. The event will highlight the services from 14 different police-related agencies including the San Bruno Police Department, the FBI, San Francisco Highway Patrol and the Bart Police, with many coming as far away as Marin County. Spectators can watch two K-9 demonstrations and enjoy a meet and greet with the dogs after each show. The K-9 shows will feature a wide variety of dogs including agricultural dogs trained to discover illegal food at the airport, explosive detecting dogs, drug uncovering dogs and search and rescue dogs. In addition, unique and exciting police vehicles will be on display throughout the center.
