THE SHOPS AT TANFORAN HONORS THE MEN AND WOMEN WHO PROTECT THE COMMUNITY WITH NATIONAL POLICE WEEK EVENT

WHAT: The Shops at Tanforan invites the community to help celebrate National Police Week with a special event at the center. The event will highlight the services from numerous police-related agencies including the San Bruno Police Department, the F.B.I., California Highway Patrol and the BART Police Department, with many coming as far away as Marin County. At the event the public can meet their neighborhood police officer and receive crime prevention information. There will also be K-9 demonstrations including a meet and greet with the dogs after each show. The K-9 shows will feature a wide variety of dogs including agricultural dogs trained to discover illegal food at the airport, explosive detecting dogs, drug uncovering dogs and search and rescue dogs. In addition, unique and exciting police vehicles will be on display.
