This coming Mother’s Day Weekend, fans new and old will have the opportunity to watch the world’s best disc golfers compete for the SFO championship and a prize purse of more than $40,000. The action will unfold at Gleneagles Disc Golf Course which exhibits challenging terrain, sweeping views of San Francisco Bay, and a course length of nearly 10,000 feet.
More than just a tournament, this will be a full-scale festival with carnival disc games, food trucks, 150+ players, 1000+ spectators, a long-distance competition, and more. Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the country, and this festival is designed to reach out to a whole new audience and build excitement for the sport.
This year’s event marks the first time in disc golf history a sanctioned tournament carries a title sponsor in the cannabis industry.
