The San Francisco Bicycle Ballet’s rally at SF City Hall and “An Across the World Daisy” at 1pm CA time.
City Hall Steps: 12pm-12:50pm: The SFBB rally for the Paris Climate Accord will start at Noon. To maintain a clean environment it is necessary to work together through education and action. Our participation as a community is unique and vital to the health of the climate. Great Speakers include: Tony Fletcher (Director, Enchanted Hills Camp and Retreat, Lighthouse, Rose Resnick), Taylor Martinez (San Francisco Bike Messenger Association), Andy Thornley (SFMTA, SFpark, San Francisco Ocean Film Festival, TransForm, San Francisco Bicycle Coalition) and some very special guests.
1pm-1:02pm: Then nearby, there and worldwide we ask that everyone perform a “Daisy” at 1pm California time in the name of a clean planet, galaxy and beyond. A hurray and special salute for the Paris Climate Accord and the Global Climate Action Summit. (What is a Daisy? It is a circle motion, clockwise or counterclockwise, with a little circle out and back in to the original circle. It can be done on a bike, a skateboard, in a walk, with a pencil, or even imagined.)
