Show #3) MARCH 31ST: (Final Show of our Residency)
With the classic Latin-fusion group
La Clandestina!
http://www.facebook.com/laclandestinasf
Music styles: Cumbia, Salsa, Carnival, Reggae, Caribbean, Rock, Andino and South-American Folk.
6-piece band: Vox/Guitar, Bass, Drum kit, Timbales/Percussions, Congas and Tenor Saxophone.
"Our music comes from our deep interest in Latino-American sounds, rhythms and melodies. Our song-writing is influenced by our memories of Argentina and Mexico and the journey that led us to form this band of migrating musicians, in San Francisco. Most of us have been friends for over 10 years and have been making music ever since.
Our all-original music is deeply rhythmic, which always gets our audiences dancing, non-stop, throughout our shows. Also, the lyrics to our songs are very engaging and inviting for people to sing along. The audience: If they're not dancing, they're singing along Mauricio, La Clandestina's vocalist"
