The Leo T. McCarthy Center for Public Service and the Common Good at the University of San Francisco (USF) is partnering with POLITICO to co-host a speaker series featuring candidates running for governor of California in 2018. The inaugural speaker series, in association with the Center’s 15th Anniversary, will be moderated by POLITICO’s Carla Marinucci and David Siders.
The candidates scheduled to speak are as follows:
Thurs., February 1: Antonio Villaraigosa, former Mayor of Los Angeles
Mon., February 5: Gavin Newsom, California State Lt. Governor
Thurs., February 15: Delaine Eastin, former State Superintendent of Public Instruction
Thurs., March 1: John Cox, Accountant and businessman
Thurs., March 22: John Chiang, California State Treasurer
All events are free and open to the public, and will take place from 5:00-6:00 PM at the McLaren Complex on the USF campus. Due to limited seating, RSVPs are strongly suggested:
