There's a pervasive myth that all you need to do to get your film distributed is get into festivals, and then the rest will work itself out.  Unfortunately, this is not really the case.  Lucky for you, we're bringing you a workshop sharing the basics you need to know about distribution, from a producer's rep and distributor who's overseen theatrical releases, sold films to Showtime and Starz, and gotten films on more platforms than we can count.  
Here's just some of what we'll be covering.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We're working on a better solution we'll update here once more information is available. Otherwise, it's street parking. We generally Recommend Taking BART to Civic Center, exiting at 8th and Market, then walking past mission and Minna to the meeting. 
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Email the organizer email on the side.
What's the refund policy?
No refunds, but you can transfer your ticket to someone who can make it, or receive a future event credit so long as you contact me more than 24 hours prior to the event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. Just your name is fine. If it's a student ticket, then you'll need your student ID as well. (Student tickets not valid at all events.)
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Your ticket is, so long as we're alerted at least 24 hours in advance.
Will the video of this event be released online for later viewing?
