Poet Patti Trimble and musician/composer Peter Whitehead merged their considerable skills to create a theater-length spoken-word piece. A beautifully smart re-imagining of Homer's Penelope as a literary collage. With help from Plato, Homer, Judith Butler, James Joyce and others, she's savvy on heroes, sirens, gender, childbirth, faithfulness, and civilization. Also about unweaving as a form of reparation, and living on this wild Earth. Vocalist Julia Norton and poet Maya Khosla also perform.
