What's a disaster if you don't have time to marvel in it? Rebecca's aunt has a point. Murder and mayhem in the landscape of the south is a lot to think about - especially if it's your family history. Join Rebecca for a solo show about family, race, southern identity in The Magnficence of the Disaster.

REBECCA FISHER a director, producer and performer of solo work. Her bay area work in the arts began at The Julia Morgan Center for the Arts in 2000. She was actively involved in the JMCA's education programs co-created and continues to co-produce a monthly solo performance series Tell it on Tuesday. Now in it's ninth year, this well known series is at The Marsh Berkeley. Rebecca's first solo show The Magnificence of the Disaster had a successful run at The Marsh in SF, as well as a tour to Memphis, TN and colleges on the East Coast. Her second solo show Memphis on My Mind was 2013 SF BEST OF FRINGE. She has directed solo shows at The Exit, SF Fringe Festival and The Marsh. As an actress, she has performed with Shotgun Players, New Conservatory Theatre, and Bay Area one Act Festival.
