We're talking beats, babes, brews, more beats, all the B's really. Along with all the usual Luau antics, the nights soundtrack will be guided by some serious shredders.
If you were lucky enough to see Detroit Swindle the last time they were in town, you need no explanation as to why we wanted them back so bad. While we knew they were going to wreck the place, we had no idea how much fun we'd have while they did it. And since everyone survived the last session, we felt comfortable stepping things up a notch, and throwing someone into the lineup that we know will really get the place moving, a young lad from the UK that we are really excited about, Leon Vynehall. With releases on Aus Music, 3024, and Royal Oak; this eclectic record collector creates a fuzzy warm sound that just tugs at his musical roots which can be found scattered across all his productions. All in all, these dudes know how to rip gnar. And like always, setting the tone for the night will be your residents, Bells and Whistles.
On Saturday, August 16th, 2014, do yourself a favor and throw on your best Hawaiian T, put on some SPF 10, roast some of that prime maui waui, and drop into Monarch where you'll get totally pitted in a green room of amazing music, and wonderfully people. Brah!
