"In Search of Israeli Cuisine" is a portrait of the Israeli people told through food. It profiles chefs, home cooks, vintners and cheese-makers from over 100 cultures that make up Israel, including Jewish, Arab, Muslim, Christian and Druze.
A story of the people emerges from their food. The chef/guide of "In Search of Israeli Cuisine" is Michael Solomonov, the James Beard award-winning owner of Zahav and other restaurants in Philadelphia and New York.
His book, "Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking" (Houghton Mifflin, 2016) was released to universal praise, landing on the New York Times bestseller list, as well as many Best Of lists.
Screenings will be held at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
