Three homeless teens brave Chicago winters, high school pressures, and life on the streets to build a brighter future. A post-screening panel and discussion focusing on how issues of youth experiencing homelessness affect the Bay Area, and how you can get involved, will feature: Kristen Marshall (Program Manager, Homeless Youth Alliance), Joe Bank (Health and Safety Associate, San Francisco Public Library), and more!
The Homestretch is part of American Graduate: Let's Make It Happen, a public media initiative supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to help local communities across America address the dropout crisis.
