The Home of the Future

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Los Altos History Museum (see times)
An expert panel--an architect, a builder, an educator, and a landscape architect--discusses what the home of the future will look like, what new features we can expect, and what our cities will look like. Main Gallery. Refreshments. Free.

Robert Cormia’s research at Foothill College includes global warming and energy policy. A team member of Sustainable Silicon Valley (SSV), Bob will give us the "big" picture to connect sustainable development and the home of the future.

Tom Klope opened his practice in Los Altos in 1994 and provides a full complement of professional landscape architectural services. He and his team are committed to providing the highest standard of responsible environmental stewardship.

William J. Maston is a local architect and has been an active community member for over 50 years whose firm specializes in residential and commercial retail projects, planned unit developments and site-specific master plans.

Builder Sean Misskelley of Clarum Homes has an unusual business motto: “We work to transform the way you live.” His goal is to build beautiful high-performance custom homes that minimize the use of resources and create healthy, comfortable living spaces.

Moderated by exhibit team member Gary Hedden of GreenTown Los Altos and the Los Altos Environmental Commission.
