There's no need to wait until the county fair to gobble up mouth-watering corn dogs -- FunCheapSF and SoMa StrEat Food Park have joined forces to bring another stellar line-up of Bay Area vendors to dip, twirl, and fry perfectly-battered and oh-so-satisfyingly-crisp specialty corn dogs! On March 21st and 22nd, San Franciscans will find their excitement hard to contain at The Great San Francisco Corn Dog Festival!
In addition to classic, childhood favorites, corn dog lovers can indulge in new, savory, grown-up surprises like cheese-stuffed corn dogs, longanisa corn dogs, bacon-wrapped corn dogs, elote-topped and -stuffed corn dogs, chicken apple corn dogs, pork belly and carnitas corn dogs, smoked bratwurst corn dogs, mini corn dogs, and more! It wouldn't be a festival without beer, so the bar will be tapping into a palate-quenching variety to mix and match with the grown-up dogs all day long.
Festivities also include a corn dog eating contest sponsored by Batter Up, live music from The Mike Saliani Band, corn dog trivia, and for the more daring fashionistas among us, prizes will also be awarded to the best human and pup corn dog costumes!
