April 11-27, 2019, Thursday-Saturday, 8pm
Get your character sheets and arcade sticks ready, as The Geek Show is back for GAME NIGHT! Conceived by producers Thomas Paras and Marc Abrigo in 2007, The Geek Show is a theatrical love letter and pointed critique of contemporary geek culture, which has been featured at SF Sketchfest and, in 2018, won Shortlived VII the nations largest, audience-judged short play competition, hosted by PianoFight theater.
This year, the Geek Show troupe returns to the Bindlestiff stage to bring their uniquely nerdy brand of sketch comedy and scripted drama into the world of gaming -- exploring identity, destiny, love, and loss from a gamer's perspective. From board games and video games, to MMOs and tabletop role-playing games, the Geeks aim to leave no stone unturned and no die unrolled in their exploration of a world typically lost to the most difficult game of all: growing up.
