The Fourth Estate - Documentary, dinner and discussion

SEE EVENT DETAILS
We're excited to be co-presenting The Fourth Estate at the 38th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival which runs July 19 – August 5, 2018 throughout the Bay Area!
Join the San Francisco Public Press for dinner and a movie for the film's Bay Area premiere.
Documentarian Liz Garbus managed to gain unprecedented access behind the scenes at The New York Times beginning January 20, 2017, the day when Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States. Garbus captures Times journalists as they try to keep up with Trump’s tumultuous first hundred days in office. As each fresh scandal and outrage unfolds, the embattled newspaper staff begins to feel the intense heat coming from the White House. This is a fascinating cinema verité look into the heart of American journalism's veteran bastion against fake news.
