Join us for The Dorian's Whiskey Society, a collection of whiskey-focused events that feature guest distillers and speakers to discuss rare and fine whiskey.
This month's special guest is, Old Elk Distillery! On June 5th at 7 pm we'll be hosting a Old Elk whiskey tasting featuring a special guest speaker who will discuss the distillation process, history, and flavor profiles of each whiskey.

Legendary entrepreneur Curt Richardson is eager to start and grow companies. Stemming from his passion to create a legacy bourbon brand with unsurpassed quality and taste, Curt turned to Greg Metze, a Master Distiller with 38 years of experience specializing in developing bourbon whiskeys. This collaboration produced an innovative bourbon, which transcends tradition.
Old Elk Blended Straight Bourbon Whiskey uses four times more malted barley than conventional recipes and a slow cut proofing process. This creates a rich, smooth flavor, in harmony with caramel cues evoked by charred barrels, and spicy notes of rye.
Our Slow Cut™ proofing process enhances the bourbon’s flavors through a patient process where full barrel proof bourbon is cut, then left to rest, and repeated. While traditional proofing takes 24-48 hours, our Slow Cut™ technique, developed over several test periods, takes significantly longer. This intentional time period allows the flavors to marry between stages, until the exact character is achieved, creating an overall smoother bourbon whiskey.
