The Dorian in San Francisco Celebrates Their 4th Anniversary on September 20
The Dorian in San Francisco's Marina District will be celebrating their 4th anniversary on Friday, September 20 with the launch of a handcrafted Nitro Espresso Martini Cart featuring Grey Goose Vodka and Joyride Coffee and made in partnership with Grey Goose. From 10:00 p.m. until close, DJ Colin Jayes will be on the turntables to commemorate the anniversary and cart debut, the first in a series of surprises planned for the year ahead. Tickets are free with an RSVP and can be obtained via https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-dorians-4th-anniversary-party-tickets-71852481707.
Always offered at The Dorian is their shared-plate classic American fare including award-winning burgers from Executive Chef Lee Levig Jr. The restaurant's beverage program features a mix of classic, contemporary and original cocktails including hand-crafted martinis and an extensive array of whiskeys. Among the fifty or so wines by the bottle are both domestic and imported vintages. Locally sourced craft beers are also available. Not to be missed is the restaurant's Rocks & Rosé, Tuesdays from 4:30 p.m. to close, featuring half-off oysters and bottles of rosé.
Designed by Shelly Amoroso, The Dorian evokes a Victorian home at the turn of the last century with rich colors and textural wallpapers, mixed with brass and concrete surfaces. Built in-panels with hand-sourced antique artifacts and art, and a chandelier all bring a sense of charm and fun to the restaurants three distinct spaces. The main bar area, with brass accents and a teal and purple color scheme, is anchored by a prominent whiskey display while upstairs, the study incorporates leather and dark wood. Seating options include banquettes, booths and a round settee.
