Rad Women Worldwide, the second installment in Local Treasure Kate Schatz's brilliant Rad Women series, is finally here, and we’re all fired up about how rad women are. Schatz's newest celebrates 40 women from around the world--graffiti artists, poets, activists, scientists--and tells their stories alongside super cool paper-cut illustrations by Miriam Klein Stahl. You’ll have so many new (s)heroes.
Bring a book about a rad woman. You’ll hang out in small groups, and talk about why you love your book. At the end, you’ll swap it for someone else’s favorite, and leave with a whole new reading list.
* * * $10 admission gets you 20% off whatever you spend that evening, an open bar for 21+, swag, friends, and more.
> > > Tickets must be purchased in advance, in-store or at brownpapertickets.com, and they do sell out.
THE TIME IS NOW. Let's get together and talk about Rad Women at a time when we need (to be) them the most. Third Thursday of the month, 7pm. See y'all there.
