In celebration of the New Year and the abundance of outstanding farms, wineries and local ingredients that dot the Bay Area, the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company is excited to announce their 2nd Annual Beer vs. Wine Dinner on Wednesday, January 21. This four-course feast prepared by Executive Chef Gaston Alfaro includes a local specialty in every dish, paired with six ounce pours of wine by Alfaro Vineyards and craft brews by the Brewing Company. At the start of each course, Brewmaster James Costa and winery owner Richard Alfaro will go toe-to-toe, explaining why they chose to pair each particular wine and beer with each course. Throughout the meal, guests are encouraged to fill out their wine vs. beer ballot, with the winner – wine or beer – declared at the end of the evening.
The dinner is $75 per person (plus a small processing fee) inclusive of tax and gratuity. Space is limited to 30 people and tickets are expected to sell out.
