The Art and Science of Rejuvenation

SEE EVENT DETAILS

In our already depleted society, we wear stress and exhaustion as badges of honor while we continue to push our body beyond its limitations. Depletion can show up as chronic pain, chronic tension, fatigue, digestive issues, insomnia, overwhelm, and sense of unease.

Learn more about the signs of chronic depletion in the body, mind, and spirit with IAYT-certified yoga therapist, Elaine Oyang, and how to remedy it from the viewpoints of modern Western sciences and the ancient wisdom of Eastern sciences (Yoga). Release into a nourishing restorative yoga practice with yoga nidra and learn how to modify your personal yoga practice to support rather than drain you. Integrate simple daily habits you can incorporate to cultivate your own inner nectar of rejuvenation.

What to bring:
Notebook and pen (a handout will also be provided)
Comfortable, warm clothes

Bio:Elaine Oyang is an IAYT-certified yoga therapist, Yoga Alliance experienced teacher, and savasana advocate. She works with individuals with chronic pain, fatigue, insomnia, and autoimmune disorders using restorative yoga therapy to help them manage their symptoms, increase mobility effectively, and gently replenish strength. Her private practices are located in the Outer Sunset (DeHart Studios) and Pacific Heights (SF Advanced Health) in addition to her small group classes at Thriveability Yoga in West Portal. Elaine also speaks at companies throughout Bay Area teaching practical stress management tools in work environments.

Event price: $40 Early Bird / $45 At Door
