Brief Description
Spartan Athletic Training Organization's (SPATO) 4th Annual Spartan 5k: We Stride as One. This race is great for all levels and abilities.. If you are looking to get a new PR (personal record), running with friends, or enjoying the beautiful campus of SJSU, this race is for you!
Course
Looped course, flat, wheelchair accessible, and will take participants throughout the beautiful San Jose State University campus. Two water stations will be available along the route.
Check-in Information
The Check-in desk will be located at the campus entrance to the Martin Luther King Jr. Library. Race bibs and safety pins will be given out at check-in. Bag/coat check will be available and under constant watch by event staff to ensure your property's safety.
Parking
FREE parking is available at several Downtown San Jose parking garages. The most convenient for race day is the Fourth Street Garage located across the street from the Martin Luther King Jr. Library and above Flames Restaurant. Visit http://www.sjdowntownparking.com/free_parking.html for other locations
Donation Collection
For the second year in a row, collection bins will be available to collect used, usable athletic shoes for Re-Play San Jose's effort to provide athletic equipment to those less fortunate (more info at http://www.replay-sj.org/). So please bring an old pair of usable shoes and be entered for a chance to win a gift card to Sports Basement!
