The 27th Annual TNDC Pool Toss

Make a splash for kids at the 27th Annual TNDC Pool Toss -- an evening of lively entertainment, delectable bites, poolside libations, and local luminaries back flipping, swan diving and cannonballing into the Phoenix Hotel/Chambers Eat + Drink pool. Funds raised at the TNDC Pool Toss on Tuesday, October 15 will help support the kids of the TNDC After-School Program (TASP), which provides a safe drop-in space for the children in the Tenderloin.

This year's confirmed tossees include Cecile Chalifour, West Division Manager, Community Development Banking, JP Morgan Chase; Gary Cohen, Principal at TRI Commercial/Corfac International; Ben Davis & Vanessa Inn, Founder, President & CEO and Chief Strategy Officer at Illuminate; Aaron Fenton, Vice President of Development - Boston Properties; Carla Javitz, President and CEO of REDF (The Roberts Enterprise Development Fund); Terry Lewis Complex General Manager, Hilton Hotels of San Francisco Union Square; Anne Torney, Architect/Partner, Mithun. TNDC Pool Toss co-hosts Brian Copeland - Comedian, Writer, TV & Radio Host and LadyRAY - 106 KMEL On-Air Personality & Community Engagement Director for iHeartMedia San Francisco will share the stage, along with emcees Tony Bravo - Arts & Culture Writer for the Datebook section of the San Francisco Chronicle; Cheryl Jennings - Emmy Award-winning Journalist; A.J. Kirsch - Actor, Combat Sports Host/Ring Announcer/Commentator; Liam Mayclem, KCBS "Foodie Chap"; and Empress XXX Donna Sachet - TV Host/Performer/Columnist for The Bay Times.

Bonhams auctioneer Aaron Bastian will lead the spirited bidding while the buffed and beautiful lifeguards from Fitness SF keep things safe. The fun continues with award-winning Cherry Hoops hula hoopers, SnapFiesta photo station, San Francisco Flaggers, Maikaze Taiko, Banda sin Nombre trio, and DJ Pause.
Each year TNDC selects a renowned cartoonist to create an exclusive logo for the Pool Toss. This year's artist is Meggie Ramm, a cartoonist and teacher who loves comics and teaches comic and cartoon art to Bay Area elementary school students, hosts comics workshops and leads panel discussions at libraries and schools around California.
