The Spring Garden Market gives a chance to mingle to with the sustainable gardeners amongst a premier plant sale, sustainable gardening showcase and vendor fair.
The Plant Offerings sell a variety of tomato, pepper, herb, and flower seedlings, raised in Santa Clara Valley and selected for overall performance in local soil and climate.
Master Gardeners will speak throughout the day, giving tips on gardening like how to grow in a drought.
The market will also feature a Green Elephant Sale, selling used gardening resources like tools, pots and books at a bargain.
Information tables will be set up throughout the market, where Master Gardeners will be able to answer questions. The Hotline LIVE! table will be taking plant samples for diagnosis. Learn about water-wise plants, animal pest control, tool care, and more.
40+ booths will line Main Street; ranging from plant nurseries, gardening societies, urban farmers, beekeepers and conservation groups to vendors of containers and raised beds, apparel, mosaics and even chicken coops.
A Plant Daycare provides care for purchases while shopping and browsing.
Proceeds will benefit the UCCE Master Gardener of Santa Clara Valley program.
