On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, Left Bank Brasserie in Menlo Park is open noon to 8:00 PM serving a $41.75 four-course holiday prix fixe menu with entrée choices of turkey, pork or risotto. The turkey entrée will include Norbest natural roasted turkey with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, corn bread stuffing, Brussels sprouts with lardons, candied yams, giblet gravy and orange cranberry relish; the pork will be smoked honey-mustard glaze natural rack of pork with leek and potato gratin, Brussels sprouts with lardons, apple chutney and pork jus; and with the autumn risotto will come exotic mushrooms, squash, Brussels sprouts, truffle oil and parmesan cheese. Accompanying all of the entrées will be a first course of butternut squash soup, crème fraîche, chives and roasted pumpkin seeds; a second course salad with fuyu persimmon, frisée, pomegranate and a sherry vinaigrette; and for dessert, pumpkin pie with whipped cream. All prix fixe menu items will also be offered on an a la carte basis and select regular menu items will be served at the bar. There will be an $11.50 children’s menu available to those 12 years and under. There will not be Happy Hour service that day.
