Thanksgiving Day Celebration at Lake Chalet in Oakland

On Thanksgiving Day, November 22, Lake Chalet in Oakland will be open from 12:00 to 8:00 PM serving a $65.00 three-course prix fixe menu prepared by Chef Serafin Cruz. Main course choices will be Roasted Fresh Turkey with white and dark meat, sausage stuffing, giblet gravy, buttermilk mashed potatoes, cranberry apple relish, butternut squash gratin, and season’s vegetables; Slow Cooked Lamb Shank with Aanson Mills polenta, natural jus, and glazed autumn vegetables; Grilled Pacific Swordfish with Dungeness crab brandade, asparagus, and lemon nage; Herb Crusted Prime Rib natural jus and horseradish crema; Pan Seared Spinach Ricotta Gnocchi with glazed root vegetables with apple cider and sage, and crispy hen of the woods mushrooms. Optional add-on starters and special holiday cocktails will also be available. In addition, there will be a $79.00 premium buffet with a meat carving station, a seafood bar, nine sides and salads, four desserts and main selections of Fresh Ravioli with cider glazed autumn vegetables; Grilled Salmon with apple brown butter and mushrooms; Flatiron Steak with sherry mushroom cream; Butternut Squash Bisque; Stuffed Local Petrale sole with crabmeat; Truffle Mac and Cheese with 5 cheeses; Charcuterie and cheese displays; and warm dinner rolls with honey butter. All prices exclude tax and gratuity.
